Dear Boston,

I've only visited once, but I can say with confidence there is no other city in the world quite like you.

My heart goes out to all those affected by the tragedy at the Boston Marathon yesterday.

This senseless act was devastating, but hearing the stories of heroism and sacrifice from officials, volunteers, and runners reminds me what makes Boston great.

I believe good will prevail over evil in Boston and in the world.
